License
Every purchase of Thread is governed by one of the two license terms below, based on which tier you choose at checkout. There are two tiers, Single-Use and Extended. Pick whichever matches how you're actually using the template, if you're not sure, the guide below should make it clear.
Single-Use License
For one live website, personal or for a single client.
You can:
Use Thread to build one live website
Modify the design, copy, layout, and content freely for that project
Use it for a personal project or a single paid client project
You can't:
Use the same purchase across more than one live website
Resell, redistribute, or share the raw template file
Repackage Thread, in whole or in part, as your own template or product
Extended License
For freelancers, agencies, and anyone building more than one site with Thread.
You can:
Use Thread across multiple live websites and multiple clients, without purchasing again per project
Everything included in the Single-Use license
Use it on an ongoing basis for client work
You can't:
Resell, redistribute, or share the raw template file
Repackage Thread, in whole or in part, as your own template or product on any marketplace
Which one do I need?
If you're building one site, for yourself or for one client, Single-Use covers you. If you're a freelancer or agency planning to reuse Thread for different clients or projects, Extended is the one that actually covers that use, using a Single-Use license across multiple client sites isn't permitted under its terms.
